In Isis' Wake

The news today is that on Wednesday I had my interview for school, and it went well. At the end of the interview, the Chair of the program said that they invited me to attend the school, seeing no reason to make we wait to find out the decision over the weekend. That was nice of her. She's an Aries. Before the interview began, she shuffled a Susan Seddon Boulet Goddess card deck, and had me and the admission counselor, also a woman, and then herself, choose a card, without looking.

I managed to come out with Isis. Ha. Beat that. Mother of all Goddesses, as she is known. And *that* is the first step in my journey through graduate school. But of course.
